Recycle while you shop with Burgess Hill Terracycle

Since January, Scrapless x Burgess Hill Terracycle x YOU GUYS have stopped 159kg worth of waste going to landfill!

Scrappless are excited to be working alongside Burgess Hill Recycling – Terracycle to offer you the chance to Terracycle right in store while you are shopping!

But first… what is TerraCycle

TerraCycle is Eliminating the Idea of Waste® by recycling the “non-recyclable.” Whether it’s coffee capsules from your home, pens from a school, or plastic gloves from a manufacturing facility, TerraCycle can collect and recycle almost any form of waste. We partner with individual collectors such as yourself, as well as major consumer product companies, retailers, manufacturers, municipalities, and small businesses across 20 different countries. With your help, we are able to divert millions of pounds of waste from landfills and incinerators each month.

To TerraCycle it is asked that schemes are already separated (into bread bags or similar works), packaging should be shaken free of crumbs but they don’t need to be washed, packaging should be flattened rather them scrunched up!

They accept the following items:

Bread bag scheme, Confectionary Scheme, Crisps, Nuts and Pretzels Scheme, Tooth care Scheme, Cheese Packet Scheme, Biscuit Packet Scheme, Pens Scheme & Milk Bottle Tops
